First days of summer in Milan

We waited for a long time, May was not really warm in Milan… but summer has finally arrived, and as every summer arrives, altough I waited a long time for it, I suffer from the humid hot temperatures of the city…. anyway I really love the air you breath inthe italian summer, it seems everyone is happy! we just feel we are already enjoying the holidays!

Today I wanted to show you some places you should visit in Milan as well as the outfits I used for every occasion, from very casual (denim dress and converse) to an evening with friends.

At Fondazione Prada, just re-opened, you can find classic and modern art, contemporary exhibitions and other things, as well as a bar where you can also eat. Plan to stay there at least for 4 hours; take a sweater with you… the air conditioning is strong and wear good, flat shoes.

Then there’s 10 Corso Como’s famous boutique, but not only, on the first floor you’ll find a library and an art gallery with different exhibitions and you can see the terrace! with a beautiful view of Milan. But Milan has changed and Corso Como is not the only street to visit in that neighborhood, start from Viale della Liberazione with its beautiful new buildings, stop for a coffee at Piazza Gae Aulenti and then continue to “Isola” for dinner or just Corso Como again until you arrive to Eataly.

And of course, go to Piazza Duomo, corso Vittorio Emanuele, San Babila and the luxury streets: Via MonteNapoleone, Via della Spiga e Via Sant’Andrea, besides the other streets in the neighborhood, it’s full of shops, boutiques, bars, museums, etc., for every taste and budget!
